Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in North Ward in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (2,542 males or 19.3%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (1,391 males or 10.5%)
  • Retail Trade (1,098 males or 8.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 5,031 males in total or 38.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Rouse Hill employed 13.8% in Construction; 11.8% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 8.4% in Retail Trade.
