Dominant groups
Analysis of the male five year age groups of Gables in 2021 compared to Rouse Hill shows that there was a higher proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a lower proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 31.0% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 4.2% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 23.0% and 7.6% respectively for Rouse Hill.
The major differences between the male age structure of Gables and Rouse Hill were:
- A larger percentage of males aged 0 to 4 (10.9% compared to 5.8%)
- A larger percentage of males aged 30 to 34 (8.7% compared to 4.4%)
- A larger percentage of males aged 35 to 39 (12.3% compared to 8.3%)
- A smaller percentage of males aged 15 to 19 (5.0% compared to 9.7%)

From 2016 to 2021, Gables's male population increased by 1,538 people (2746.4%). This represents an average annual population change of 95.37% per year over the period.
The largest changes in male age structure in this area between 2016 and 2021 were in the age groups:
- 35 to 39 (+194 males)
- 5 to 9 (+178 males)
- 0 to 4 (+172 males)
- 40 to 44 (+152 males)
