Dominant groups
Analysis of the ancestry responses of the population in Box Hill in 2021 shows that the top five ancestries nominated were:
- Australian (1,321 people or 20.5%)
- English (1,153 people or 17.9%)
- Indian (896 people or 13.9%)
- Filipino (544 people or 8.4%)
- Chinese (352 people or 5.5%)
In combination these five ancestries account for 4,266 responses in total, or 66.21% of all responses.
