Dominant groups

Analysis of the country of birth of the population in South East Corner in 2016 compared to the City of Adelaide shows that there was a smaller proportion of people born overseas, as well as a smaller proportion of people from a non-English speaking background.

Overall, 32.5% of the population was born overseas, and 22.5% were from a non-English speaking background, compared with 44.2% and 36.5% respectively for the City of Adelaide.
