Dominant groups

Analysis of the country of birth of the population in CAD West in 2011 compared to the City of Adelaide shows that there was a larger proportion of people born overseas, as well as a larger proportion of people from a non-English speaking background.

Overall, 59.2% of the population was born overseas, and 55.3% were from a non-English speaking background, compared with 40.7% and 32.1% respectively for the City of Adelaide.
