Analysis of the type of internet connection of households in the City of Adelaide compared to Greater Adelaide shows that there was a lower proportion of households with either no internet connection or a dial up connection, and a higher proportion of households with broadband connectivity.

Overall 14.3% of households had no internet connection or a dial up connection, and 67.8% had broadband connectivity, compared with 24.5% and 65.6% respectively in Greater Adelaide.
