Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Eastern Region Alliance area in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (19,345 females or 37.2%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (9,573 females or 18.4%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (7,254 females or 13.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 36,172 females in total or 69.5% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Parkside Ward employed 41.0% in Professionals; 17.3% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 12.6% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
