Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Eastern Region Alliance area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (13,319 females or 25.6%)
  • Education and Training (7,562 females or 14.5%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (4,972 females or 9.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 25,853 females in total or 49.7% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Unley employed 25.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 14.3% in Education and Training; and 10.9% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services.
