Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Eastern Region Alliance area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (6,968 males or 13.1%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (5,617 males or 10.6%)
  • Construction (5,582 males or 10.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 18,167 males in total or 34.3% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Fullarton employed 14.1% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 11.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 8.8% in Construction.
