Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Angle Vale in 2016 compared to the City of Playford shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 52.7% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 4.9% were one-parent families, compared with 27.4% and 17.1% respectively for the City of Playford.

There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 11.7% compared to 24.5% in the City of Playford while the proportion of couples without children was 26.0% compared to 20.5% in the City of Playford.
