Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Narre Warren in 2016 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Manufacturing (1,624 people or 12.6%)
  • Retail Trade (1,598 people or 12.4%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,428 people or 11.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 4,650 people in total or 36.1% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 12.4% in Manufacturing; 11.3% in Retail Trade; and 12.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Narre Warren and the City of Casey were:
