Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Clyde North in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,934 people or 18.6%)
  • Retail Trade (1,545 people or 9.8%)
  • Manufacturing (1,533 people or 9.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 6,012 people in total or 38.0% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 14.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.2% in Retail Trade; and 10.9% in Manufacturing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Clyde North and the City of Casey were:

  • A larger percentage of persons employed in health care and social assistance (18.6% compared to 14.9%)
