Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Cranbourne in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,349 people or 14.2%)
  • Manufacturing (1,180 people or 12.4%)
  • Construction (1,094 people or 11.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,623 people in total or 38.1% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 14.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.9% in Manufacturing; and 11.5% in Construction.
