Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Pearcedale in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (403 people or 20.6%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (242 people or 12.4%)
  • Retail Trade (170 people or 8.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 815 people in total or 41.7% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 11.5% in Construction; 14.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 10.2% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Pearcedale and the City of Casey were:
