Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Cranbourne West in 2016 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Manufacturing (1,026 people or 14.5%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,022 people or 14.4%)
  • Retail Trade (834 people or 11.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,882 people in total or 40.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 12.4% in Manufacturing; 12.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 11.3% in Retail Trade.
