Casey Farm is bounded by a line running to the north of Browns Road and Facey Road, the South Gippsland Highway, Manks Road, Yallambee Road, Wiltara Road and Ballarto Road in the north, Pound Road and Tooradin Station Road in the east, Lynes Road, the South Gippsland Highway and Baxter-Tooradin Road in the south and Craig Road in the west.

Settlement of the area dates from the mid 1800s, with land used mainly for farming and grazing. Some growth took place during the early 1900s, and again during the post-war years. The population was relatively stable between 1991 and 2011, a result of few new dwellings being added to the area and a decline in the average number of persons living in each dwelling.
Casey Farm is a predominantly rural area. Land is used mainly for market gardening, flower growing and grazing.
Major features of the area include Glover Recreation Reserve, Devon Meadows Community Hall and Devon Meadows Primary School.
Casey Farm encompasses most of the locality of Devon Meadows, and parts of the localities of Clyde and Tooradin.
