Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Cranbourne North in 2016 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Manufacturing (1,238 people or 13.4%)
  • Retail Trade (1,180 people or 12.8%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,152 people or 12.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,570 people in total or 38.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Casey employed 12.4% in Manufacturing; 11.3% in Retail Trade; and 12.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
