Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Sydenham District in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (2,522 females or 23.8%)
  • Professionals (2,296 females or 21.7%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (1,668 females or 15.7%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 6,486 females in total or 61.2% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Sunshine employed 17.2% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; 28.8% in Professionals; and 19.1% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
