Keilor Lodge - Keilor North is bounded by Thompsons Road, Column Gully and Jacksons Creek in the north, the Maribyrnong River in the east, the Calder Freeway, the Melton Highway, Pintail Crescent and Clifton Court in the south and the Calder Freeway in the west.

Settlement history

Development of the area dates primarily from the 1980s. The population continued to increase rapidly during the early 1990s, with growth slowing during the late 1990s as fewer new dwellings were constructed. The population was then relatively stable between 2001 and 2011, a result of some new dwellings being added, but a decline in the average number of persons living in each dwelling.
