Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Derrimut in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (484 people or 12.1%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (481 people or 12.0%)
  • Manufacturing (425 people or 10.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,390 people in total or 34.7% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the Keilor Park & District employed 5.6% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; 9.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 7.5% in Manufacturing.
