Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Keilor in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (339 males or 23.3%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (132 males or 9.1%)
  • Retail Trade (124 males or 8.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 595 males in total or 41.0% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the Sunshine District employed 12.8% in Construction; 5.8% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 8.3% in Retail Trade.
