Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Keilor District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (339 females or 17.3%)
  • Education and Training (309 females or 15.7%)
  • Retail Trade (246 females or 12.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 894 females in total or 45.5% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Sydenham - Hillside employed 21.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.8% in Education and Training; and 13.8% in Retail Trade.
