Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Delahey in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (318 females or 19.0%)
  • Retail Trade (246 females or 14.7%)
  • Education and Training (157 females or 9.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 721 females in total or 43.0% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Sydenham - Hillside employed 21.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.8% in Retail Trade; and 11.8% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Delahey and Sydenham - Hillside were:
