Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of Sunshine West in 2021 compared to the Keilor District shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) as well as a lower proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 16.8% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 16.3% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 18.8% and 22.6% respectively for the Keilor District.
