Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of the Keilor District in 2021 compared to Sunshine NIEC shows that there was a higher proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) as well as a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 18.8% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 22.7% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 16.1% and 15.0% respectively for Sunshine NIEC.
