Dwellings with 3 bedrooms were the most common in Sunshine NIEC in 2021.
The Number of Bedrooms in a dwelling is an indicator of the size of dwellings, and when combined with Dwelling Type information, provides insight into the role Sunshine NIEC plays in the housing market. Dominant groups
Analysis of the number of bedrooms in dwellings in Sunshine NIEC in 2021 compared to Delahey shows that there was a higher proportion of dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and a lower proportion of dwellings with 4 or more bedrooms.
Overall, 23.2% of households were in dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and 18.7% of 4 or more bedroom dwellings, compared with 8.1% and 24.5% for Delahey respectively.
