Dominant groups

Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Elizabeth in 2021 compared to the City of Playford shows that 68.2% of the households owned at least one car, while 21.7% did not, compared with 85.1% and 8.8% respectively in the City of Playford.

Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.

Overall, 36.2% of the households owned one car; 22.8% owned two cars; and 9.2% owned three cars or more, compared with 34.6%; 32.9% and 17.5% respectively for the City of Playford.
