Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the population in Growth LGAs in Victoria in 2021 compared to National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) shows that there was a similar proportion of people holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), as well as a similar proportion of people with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 52.1% of the population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 40.2% had no qualifications, compared with 51.9% and 40.1% respectively for National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA).

The major differences between qualifications held by the population of Growth LGAs in Victoria and National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) were:
