Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in City of Mandurah in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (6,739 people or 18.6%)
  • Professionals (5,215 people or 14.4%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (5,061 people or 14.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 17,015 people in total or 47.1% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, South Australia employed 13.2% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 21.5% in Professionals; and 13.0% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of the City of Mandurah and South Australia were:
