Dominant groups

Analysis of the car ownership of people born overseas in the City of Knox in 2021 compared to the total population in the City of Knox shows that 96.9% of people born overseas were in households that owned at least one car, while 2.4% did not, compared with 95.2% and 2.0% respectively in the total population in the City of Knox.

Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion that owned just one car; a larger proportion owned two cars; and a smaller proportion that owned three cars or more.
