In 2021,5571 1,747 people aged 15 to 17 years living in the City of Knox were employed, of which were working full time and 84.1% part time.

Dominant groups

The size of the City of Knox's labour force aged 15 to 17 years in 2021 was 2,243 persons, of which 1,470 were employed part-time and 61 were full time workers.

Analysis of the employment status of people aged 15 to 17 years (as a percentage of the labour force) in the City of Knox in 2021 compared to the total population in the City of Knox shows that there was a lower proportion in employment, and a higher proportion unemployed. Overall, 77.9% of the labour force aged 15 to 17 years was employed and 22.1% unemployed, compared with 95.6% and 4.4% respectively for the total population in the City of Knox.
