Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Elizabeth North in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (125 females or 25.9%)
  • Retail Trade (67 females or 13.9%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (51 females or 10.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 243 females in total or 50.3% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Playford employed 26.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 14.3% in Retail Trade; and 7.2% in Accommodation and Food Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Elizabeth North and the City of Playford were:
