Dominant groups
Analysis of the female five year age groups of Elizabeth in 2021 compared to Elizabeth Grove shows that there was a lower proportion of females in the younger age groups (under 15) and a similar proportion of females in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 16.8% of the female population was aged between 0 and 15, and 16.8% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 21.6% and 17.0% respectively for Elizabeth Grove.
The major differences between the female age structure of Elizabeth and Elizabeth Grove were:
- A larger percentage of females aged 40 to 44 (7.8% compared to 4.6%)
- A larger percentage of females aged 45 to 49 (7.0% compared to 5.1%)
- A larger percentage of females aged 20 to 24 (9.4% compared to 7.6%)
- A smaller percentage of females aged 0 to 4 (4.3% compared to 7.8%)
Emerging groups
From 2011 to 2021, Elizabeth's female population increased by 16 people (3.4%). This represents an average annual population change of 0.33% per year over the period.
There were no major differences in Elizabeth between 2011 and 2021.
