Dominant groups
Analysis of the need for assistance of males in the City of Playford compared to Angle Vale shows that there was a higher proportion of males who reported needing assistance with core activities.
Overall, 9.9% of the male population reported needing assistance with core activities, compared with 5.3% for Angle Vale.
The major differences in the male age groups reporting a need for assistance in Elizabeth and Angle Vale were:
- A larger percentage of males aged 75 to 79 (36.4% compared to 17.4%)
- A larger percentage of males aged 65 to 69 (18.2% compared to 3.6%)
- A larger percentage of males aged 20 to 59 (10.9% compared to 1.7%)
- A smaller percentage of males aged 80 to 84 (0.0% compared to 9.7%)
