Analysis of the unpaid child care provided by the population in the Shire of Mitchell in 2021 compared to Growth LGAs in Queensland shows that there was a similar proportion of people who provided unpaid child care either to their own or to other children. Overall, 29.4% of the population provided unpaid child care, compared with 29.5% for Growth LGAs in Queensland.
There were no major differences between Shire of Mitchell and Growth LGAs in Queensland in 2021.
