Dominant groups

In 2021, there were 1,463 females who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Penrith City , compared with 21,390 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).

Analysis of the method of travel to work of the female residents in Penrith City in 2021, compared to National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA), shows that 3.0% used public transport, while 43.7% used a private vehicle, compared with 4.9% and 56.4% respectively in National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA).

The major differences in females between the method of travel to work of Penrith City and National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) were:
