Analysis of the housing tenure of households of the City of Rockingham in 2021 compared to the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale shows that there was a larger proportion of households who owned their dwelling; a smaller proportion purchasing their dwelling; and a larger proportion who were renters.
Overall, 24.2% of households owned their dwelling; 45.9% were purchasing, and 24.2% were renting, compared with 20.9%, 61.6% and 12.3% respectively for the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale .
