Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Growth LGAs in Victoria in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (123,918 people or 18.1%)
- Technicians and Trades Workers (100,193 people or 14.7%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (92,394 people or 13.5%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 316,505 people in total or 46.3% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) employed 18.4% in Professionals; 14.7% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 13.9% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
There were no major differences between Growth LGAs in Victoria and National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) in 2021.
