Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in City of Wanneroo in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (10,885 females or 21.5%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (10,384 females or 20.6%)
  • Professionals (10,193 females or 20.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 31,462 females in total or 62.3% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Growth LGAs in Queensland employed 22.4% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; 19.7% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 20.7% in Professionals.

The major difference between the jobs held by the female population of the City of Wanneroo and Growth LGAs in Queensland was:

  • A larger percentage of females employed as Technicians and Trades Workers (5.7% compared to 4.6%)
