Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in City of Mandurah in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Technicians and Trades Workers (5,627 males or 30.4%)
- Machinery Operators And Drivers (3,350 males or 18.1%)
- Labourers (2,446 males or 13.2%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 11,423 males in total or 61.8% of the employed male resident population.
In comparison, Greater Perth employed 23.4% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 11.7% in Machinery Operators And Drivers; and 10.5% in Labourers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the City of Mandurah and Greater Perth were:
- A larger percentage of males employed as Technicians and Trades Workers (30.4% compared to 23.4%)
