Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in City of Armadale in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (4,552 females or 21.8%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (4,328 females or 20.7%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (4,174 females or 20.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 13,054 females in total or 62.6% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Wyndham employed 24.1% in Professionals; 20.0% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 18.3% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of the City of Armadale and the City of Wyndham were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed as Community and Personal Service Workers (20.0% compared to 18.3%)
