Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in City of Swan in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (8,361 females or 23.0%)
  • Retail Trade (4,587 females or 12.6%)
  • Education and Training (4,175 females or 11.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 17,123 females in total or 47.0% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) employed 23.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.8% in Retail Trade; and 12.5% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of the City of Swan and National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) were:
