Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in City of Kwinana in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,565 females or 25.6%)
  • Retail Trade (1,201 females or 12.0%)
  • Education and Training (1,079 females or 10.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 4,845 females in total or 48.3% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) employed 23.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.8% in Retail Trade; and 12.5% in Education and Training.
