Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in City of Wyndham in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (13,061 females or 21.4%)
  • Education and Training (6,860 females or 11.2%)
  • Retail Trade (6,855 females or 11.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 26,776 females in total or 43.8% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) employed 23.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.5% in Education and Training; and 11.8% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of the City of Wyndham and National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) were:
