Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in City of Kwinana in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (1,663 males or 14.7%)
  • Manufacturing (1,316 males or 11.6%)
  • Mining (1,110 males or 9.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 4,089 males in total or 36.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Moreton Bay Region employed 18.2% in Construction; 9.1% in Manufacturing; and 1.9% in Mining.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the City of Kwinana and Moreton Bay Region were:
