Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of Moreton Bay Region in 2021 compared to National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 20.9% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 16.8% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 22.8% and 12.2% respectively for National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA).
