Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of Growth LGAs in WA in 2021 compared to National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) shows that there was a similar proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 23.0% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 13.0% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 23.1% and 12.1% respectively for National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA).
