Dominant groups
Analysis of the need for assistance of females in the National Growth Areas Alliance compared to the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale shows that there was a higher proportion of females who reported needing assistance with core activities.
Overall, 4.8% of the female population reported needing assistance with core activities, compared with 3.6% for the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale .
The major differences in the female age groups reporting a need for assistance in the City of Cockburn and the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale were:
