Dominant groups

Analysis of the need for assistance of people in the National Growth Areas Alliance compared to the City of Hume shows that there was a lower proportion of people who reported needing assistance with core activities.

Overall, 4.5% of the population reported needing assistance with core activities, compared with 6.9% for the City of Hume .

The major differences in the age groups reporting a need for assistance in the City of Cockburn and the City of Hume were:
