The size of the City of Knox's labour force in low income households in 2021 was 3,761, of which 1,851 were employed part-time and 741 were full time workers.

Analysis of the employment status of people in low income households (as a percentage of the labour force) in the City of Knox in 2021 compared to the total population in the City of Knox shows that there was a lower proportion of people in low income households in employment, and a higher proportion unemployed.
